Can this be used as a video tripod ?
This cannot, as is, be a true video tripod. The ball head is meant only for holding a camera in one position during exposure. That is termed a lock off in movie terms and if that is what you need, then you are good. However, to be a true video tripod you need the head to be a fluid type so during the take you can smoothly pan and tilt with the subject.
