Vortex Diamondback HD 8x32 Reviews

Best binoculars for the price - Just as good as the 8x42s

I tried a few different binoculars in store and these were significantly better than the others at their price point. We got a pair of 8x32 and a pair of 8x42 Diamondback HDs for our trip to Alaska and I have to say I prefer the 8x32 even though my wife has already claimed them. They are significantly lighter and smaller with nearly the same optical quality as the 8x42s. We tried them in low light conditions and can hardly tell a difference between the two pairs. These will probably be our new every day binoculars that we bring on trips. Not to mention Vortex has a lifetime warranty. 10/10

Excellent binocular for the price

I got these 8x32 for a trip to Europe because they would fit in a jacket pocket. The width of field and sharpness are essentially as good as my much more expensive Nikon 8x42. There may be a slight fall off of resolution near the edges and slightly less light gathering, but they are for all my purposes as good as my Nikons. The close focus is better. Overall it is amazingly good for the very reasonable price.

Setting up was easy, instructions that came with were more than sufficient. The picture is crystal clear and lets a good amount of light through. I'd like to say as far as nighttime vision, it's about the same as what my own eyes can see. Build quality feels solid and tight. The focusing dial is smooth but firm, I could focus in with just one hand on. Packs up nice and compact whilst delivering some powerful optics.

First of all B&H has tons of things. Just because it looks like a camera/video store is deciving. Top notch service, quick easy delivery, and all shows when they say it's coming. I will be scouting your website for future purchases. Thank you

Great binoculars

I recently purchased a pair of the 8x32 Diamondback HD to replace Nikon 10x42 that were lost elk hunting. They are small enough to fit in a pocket and are a great replacement for the lost pair. They are great in low light and, after comparing them to others in the same price range and above, I opted for this pair. I have elk on the hillside next to my house so I'm able to compare these with others for that purpose. I couldn't see a discernible difference for my purpose after comparing them to similar size Zeiss and other high quality binoculars.

These are some of the best bino's I have ever had. They are extremely light weight, durable, and the view is crazy clear. I could do a fire mission on some jokers pinky toe. B&H as always fast, great prices, and you receive what you order quickly.

... NOT FOR EYEGLASS WEARERS ...

.... These are well built and very compact having a rubber coated metal body. Focus knob has no backlash and is very smooth, diopter adjustment is firm and precise. Optics are clear and bright ..... BUT, the eye relief is much too short for eyeglass wearers. I would much prefer a soft case rather than the bulky semi-hard case that was included. These would be great for someone who DOES NOT wear eyeglasses.

These deliver sharp bright images way past their cost

Yes, I have better binoculars, but none this compact and sharp at the same time. Fabulous for birding.
