I bought the 5D4 on 2018-11-21 and the Ruggard skin on 2020-09-16, but I don't have an "L bracket" nor do I know what it is. If you don't get a satisfactory answer from someone else, please provide a link for the L bracket so that I can see what it looks like and then I will evaluate as best I can whether it is compatible with the Ruggard skin. In the interest of full disclosure, I must tell you that I'm not using the Ruggard skin. When I fit it onto the camera 14 months ago during September 2020, I was disappointed to see that the skin covered too many (all?) of the white lettering and symbols that serve as labels for the control knobs and switches. I immediately removed the skin and may never put it back on.

No. In fact, it rolls around the bottom edges of the camera, making it difficult to attach a tripod or foot release, as well. It also has a very slippery grip with the silicon rubber surface. I don't use the one I purchased for that reason. The protection concept is good, just not practical IMHO.
