Bundled together by B&H for your convenience, this black and white Rode Wireless GO 2-Person Kit provides essential wireless tools for recording two subjects to a DSLR/mirrorless camera or a camcorder for run-and-gun film making. Indeed, whether you're gathering news for tonight's broadcast or shooting documentaries to edit later in post, this kit will come in handy.

It includes two bodypack transmitters with built-in microphones, two camera-mount receivers, a Vello mounting bracket, and a Kopul CMCS-1 microphone combiner. Both receivers and the mic combiner can be mounted onto a single camera using the triple-shoe bracket. The two receivers plug into the combiner, which in turn plugs into the 3.5mm audio input of your camera. This allows you to record both mics using the single input of your DSLR, while keeping your rig portable and compact.

Two Rode VXLR 3.5mm to XLR converters are also included to plug the receivers directly into the individual XLR inputs of a camcorder or a pro-level field recorder such as a Zoom Handy recorder, a Tascam, or a Sound Devices unit.

Use the Wireless GO system to transmit and receive crystal-clear audio over distances of up to 230'. The Wireless GO system makes use of Series III 2.4 GHz with 128-bit encryption, ensuring a reliable and secure transmission every time. Plug an external microphone into the transmitter, or use the transmitter itself as a microphone—one is built right into the unit. This kit provides one Wireless GO in black and the other in white, which will help you distringuish the two units effortlessly, and avoid any time-wasting misunderstandings in mission-critical circumstances.

All of these goodies in one package spell out one simple fact: if you're making run-and-gun content with a two-person interview, this kit will help you achieve great-sounding results.

Rode Wireless GO Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System (2.4 GHz, Black)

Confidently and quickly run-and-gun in the world of wireless audio with the black Rode Wireless GO, an incredibly compact true wireless microphone system offering secure Series III 2.4 GHz digital transmission and easy operability for mobile journalists, videographers, and vloggers of any experience level. The system is ready to go at the press of a button; you can focus on getting the shot knowing that the Wireless GO is delivering quality audio at a range of up to 230 feet. There are no menus and no finicky dials, just simple power-on-and-go functionality and a bright, informative LCD screen showing you what you need to see.

Capture top-notch audio quality even if you don't have an external mic; the Wireless GO is a complete system comprised of a miniature clip-on transmitter with a built-in true wireless omnidirectional microphone capsule, a miniature clip-on receiver, and a slew of accessories—everything you need to get up and running in the field. Clip the transmitter onto your subject's clothing or belt, clip the receiver near your recording device, then connect the receiver's output to your recorder's input. Whether you use the transmitter's convenient, high-caliber integrated mic or hook up the companion Rode Lavalier GO (available separately), you're assured to achieve clear, crisp, intelligible audio.

Out of the Box, onto the Set

Designed with stunning simplicity and efficiency in mind, the Rode Wireless GO offers near-instantaneous functionality out of the box for your next news shoot, video project, or interview. Power up, press a button to pair, then GO!
Mobile journalists, videographers, and vloggers will appreciate the Wireless GO's pocket- and bag-friendly portability. With the transmitter and receiver each weighing just one ounce and measuring approximately 1.7 x 1.7 x 0.7 inches, the subject and camera operator will forget they're even there!
Clip the miniature transmitter to clothing, attach it to a belt, or slide it in a pocket; use it as a lavalier mic (no need for a separate mic), or operate it as a traditional bodypack transmitter with an external lav mic such as the Rode Lavalier GO (available separately).
Thanks to the receiver's minute form factor and integrated clip, it provides the flexibility to be easily mounted on a camera, in a sound bag, or to a mobile device. Its bright, high-contrast display shows battery status for the receiver and transmitter, audio level, signal strength, and more.

True Wireless Microphone Ready for Run-and-Gun

Equipped with a high-caliber, pre-polarized, omnidirectional lavalier built into the transmitter's compact housing, the Wireless GO delivers quality audio without demanding an external microphone.
The internal capsule's omnidirectional polar pattern ensures reliable audio pickup even if mic placement is less than ideal, and the 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range naturally attenuates sub-bass tones such as rumble and boominess; your subject's voice will be captured with clarity, intelligibility, and consistency.

Grab a Mic and Go

Already have a top-of-the-line external lav? The transmitter packs in a 3.5mm TRS input with plug-in power, so you can connect most lavalier microphones equipped with a non-locking 3.5mm TRS mini plug (such as Rode's own Lavalier GO), and still enjoy the convenience of the Wireless GO.
The 3.5mm TRS external mic input passes wideband audio from 20 Hz to 20 kHz along to the internal mic preamp, which provides robust dynamic range and requires no manipulation of settings or parameters.

Sonically Solid and Secure

Like Rode's popular RODELink wireless systems, the Wireless GO system utilizes the 2.4 GHz frequency band to get you away from the congested and confusing domain of UHF. Forget about scanning for channels and dialing in squelch to get a strong signal; the Wireless GO just works!
Courtesy of Rode's optimized transmission algorithm, the Wireless GO empowers you with a range of up to 230 feet, and bolsters signal dependability to mitigate drop-outs in crowded short-range environments such as retail stores, malls, office buildings, and hotels.
Rode Series III 2.4 GHz digital transmission incorporates 128-bit encryption for security, stability, and hassle-free operation while bypassing the frustration of dealing with licenses and frequency mandates. Go anywhere in the world with the Wireless GO; it automatically gives you a strong signal no matter the scenario.
Note: For optimal performance from this 2.4 GHz system, users are encouraged to maintain as direct a line of sight as possible between the transmitter and receiver.

Additional Features

The receiver's 3.5mm TRS output sends a mic-level signal, making it compatible with an array of devices such as DSLRs and portable audio recorders.
Low, medium, and high (0 dB, -6 dB, and -12 dB) receiver gain settings allow simple and effective optimization of signal levels.
View transmitter and receiver battery levels on the receiver's bright, high-contrast display.
Operate up to eight systems simultaneously for more complex setups.
Includes SC2 right-angle 3.5mm TRS coiled cable for compatibility with DSLRs. Plug into your smartphone or tablet via an SC7 TRS-to-TRRS cable (available separately), or snag a VXLR adapter (available separately) for hookup to an XLR-equipped video camera or audio recorder.
Internal lithium-ion polymer batteries offer up to seven hours of battery life to handle long shoots.
USB Type-C ports for battery recharging, powering via external USB battery packs (available separately), and firmware updates.
Easily recharge over lunch and dinner breaks—go from empty to a full charge in just two hours.
Includes two USB Type-C to USB Type-A cables for simultaneous charging the transmitter and receiver.
Includes two fur windshields to minimize noise from wind and rustling clothes.

Kopul CMCS-1 Passive 3.5mm Microphone Combiner/Splitter

Offering superior sound quality compared to conventional adapter cables, the Kopul CMCS-1 lets you easily capture sound from two 3.5mm microphones into your DSLR camera or camcorder in discreet mono or combined stereo while bypassing the hassle of a dangling adapter cable.

This simple and lightweight solution utilizes a shoe mount for effortless attachment to your shooting rig, and it features dual mono inputs for external microphones and a 3.5mm stereo output, making connectivity uncomplicated. The onboard switch allows the CMCS-1 to transmit a mixed stereo signal or two individual mono signals to any DSLR camera or camcorder with a 3.5mm input.

The compact and featherlight CMCS-1 is ideal for recording dialogue, narration over ambient sound, or stereo soundscapes and is so straightforward to operate, it will improve your audio without any interruptions for your workflow. Since the CMCS-1 is passive, it requires no batteries or special source of power.

Combines Two Mic Signals

Kopul's CMCS-1 allows you to add two external microphones to your camera rig. Use two lavalier mics when you're recording dialogue or a lavalier and a camera-mountable microphone for recording a narrator with some ambient sound.

Wide Frequency Response

There's nothing like rich audio to enhance a video production. The wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response means the CMCS-1 can transmit detailed and accurate sound to your camera.

Simple to Use

The CMCS-1 couldn't be simpler to use. Its passive design means no power source is necessary. All you do is plug in your 3.5mm microphones, connect the included 3.5mm cable to your camera's audio input, and you're ready to record.

Sums Two Signals to Mono

When you select mono mode, the CMCS-1 combines both mic inputs to a mono signal and outputs this mono mix identically to two channels. Since the two mic signals are married together, you can tweak the level, EQ, or compression of the combined signals in postproduction.

Splits Two Signals

When you select stereo mode, the CMCS-1 splits the two signals and outputs them to separate channels. This is ideal if you want the flexibility to alter the volume, EQ, compression, and panning on each individual track in postproduction. It's also a great option if you want to record a stereo soundscape.

Camera Mountable

The CMCS-1 attaches directly to your camera's hot/cold shoe. Weighing less than two ounces, the CMCS-1 is featherlight. You might not even know it's there.

Mounting Socket

The CMCS-1 is outfitted with a 1/4"-20 mounting socket so you can conveniently mount it on a tripod or onto your camera rig.

Includes Audio Cable

The CMCS-1 comes with a coiled 3.5mm TRS cable, which extends from eight to 30 inches. It features gold connector plating and OFC (oxygen-free copper) shielding to maintain the purity of your signal.

Vello V-Rig 4.1" Triple Shoe Bracket

The Vello V-Rig 4.1" Triple Shoe Bracket mounts onto a camera's accessory shoe in order to provide three additional accessory shoes for mounting lights, monitors, microphones, or other accessories. In addition to the shoe mount, a 1/4"-20 thread is also available for attaching the bracket to a tripod, rig, or other bracket featuring a 1/4"-20-threaded mount.

The bracket is constructed from rigid, yet lightweight single-piece aluminum alloy, and the mounting shoes are machined out of the same piece as the bracket, for additional strength. The accessory shoes also feature backstops for greater security when attaching accessories. The bottom shoe that attaches to the camera features a locking pin, which keeps the shoe in place and prevents the shoe from rotating during use.

4.1"-Wide Bracket

This V-Bracket's width spans 4.1" and has a tiered design for mounting up to three additional accessories.

Machined Aluminum Alloy

The bracket is machined out of a single piece of aluminum alloy, which provides greater strength to the three shoes.

Accessory Shoe and 1/4"-20 Socket Mounts

The bracket can attach directly to a camera via the accessory shoe or, additionally, it features a 1/4"-20 socket for attaching to threaded mounts such as a tripod.

Locking Pin

The bottom shoe that mounts on to the camera features a locking pin, which prevents the bracket from rotating.

Can you use the two transceiver/receivers with the same iPad/iPhone?
Asked by: Aubree
Yes; you could use two receivers into the stereo input of the ipad/phone, however, one would be on the left side of the stereo field and the other would be on the right. This means thjat you would NOT be able to control the volume of each receiver, until or when you do post production audio editing. This would require a special cable, such as: B&H #: ROSC11

How I can monitor the audio? Have an adapter for headphones?
Asked by: Maria
The device the receiver is connected to would have to have a headphone output in order to monitor the audio. For instance, if plugging into a camera directly, then the camera must have a headphone output. If plugging into an audio recorder, then you would plug into the headphone out of that device.
