The LB-65 75mm Leveling Base with Butterfly Handle with 65mm from Leofoto acts like a 75mm half ball, providing +/-15° of leveling range capability. It locks easily and securely in position with the twist of the large butterfly handle at the base of the ball. This leveling base installs on any tripod leg set.
The anti-twist safety screw design uses three set screws on the spider to secure the ball head in place on top of the leveling base.

I have had this awhile and tried it with different tripods. As others have stated, the bubble level is difficult to read- particularly in low light.The worst problem is that once locked it is virtually impossible to unlock and I end up unscrewing it from the tripod instead. This negates the whole utility of being able to quickly reposition to a level setting.
Paired with Oben GH-30 gimbal, is smooth and solid. I find the bubble level a bit small, especially for an old guy using it in poor light. For the same reason, I think using the tiny hex wrench to secure the base plate to the gimbal base is difficult- particularly in cold weather. Fortunately, I didn't need to do this with the GH-30. Still a good value for the price.
