The Paterson Multi-Reel 3 Developing Tank is constructed from high-impact polystyrene that stands up to high volume use. This tank has no hidden parts, and is always easy to keep clean.

The Super System 4 Tanks are durable, easy to use, and provide consistent, even film development.

They feature a unique snap-in light trapping funnel for quick filling and emptying, to ensure even development and precise processing times.

Super System 4 Tanks offer a choice of agitation methods; use inversion agitation,  rotary agitation with the removable agitator rod supplied, or a combination of both.

This tank is supplied without reels so that a system best suited to the user's needs can be built up. Included with the tank itself is the center column, agitator rod, funnel and lid.

Takes up to three 35mm films, or two 120/220 films with optional reels.
The thoughtful design of Super System 4 includes a funnel which locks in place to keep reels secure. And as an extra safety feature, the cap cannot be locked if the funnel is improperly seated.
Chemicals pour without splash, and solution quantities are permanently indicated on the bottom of every tank.
All parts are interchangeable.
The Super System 4 is simple to load, fast to fill, and easy to clean.
A large diameter one piece lid and funnel which clips into place positively and securely, enabling the tank to be filled and emptied quickly.

Multi-Reel 3 Developing Tank is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but mine came with a problem.. Bought paterson reels and this tank. Reels work great and fit snugly in tank. Design seems fine and quite well thought but my sample came with a pesky issue. It leaks liquid out of the red rim (where the rim meets the body of the tank). Just in case you're wondering.. No, the lid is placed correctly. There are no light leaks that I can speak of.. it's just a water leak! What this means is that While processing I'll get a little dripping action along the way. Not a terrible thing, however an entirely unnecessary one. Yes, I could probably exchange for a new one with BH however I live in Brazil and to have one shipped out here would cost me more in import taxes than I care for. So, for now I'll live with it, and in the future I'll probably plug the leak! Simple design, works fine, lid is secure, daylight processing with little hassle!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Paterson Product I've been using Paterson development tanks for 15 years with great results. For any film photographer, I recommend this 3-reel tank over the Paterson 1-reel. They are identical except for capacity, which is important when developing multiple rolls per session. I've never had a light leak with a Paterson tank, and very few issues feeding the film onto the reel (mostly when my hands are wet anyway; not the fault of the reel). The heavy-duty construction is trivial to clean, and makes it difficult to create an improper seal. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another excellent Paterson product!! This is a great tank, the parts fit together well and to date have not leaked, warped, or cracked. This is the second Paterson tank I have owned, and I am hooked. All parts interchange between the two tanks, and I get consistent easy developing using these tanks. I am sure that any future tanks will be of the same brand!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tank I have multiple tanks that have frustrated me in one way or another. While I find the metal tanks better because they use metal reels, this tank is on par with a metal tank. I was having problems with other tanks, both metal and plastic, leaking chemicals while doing color development, which was frustrating. The sealing system on this tank is perfect, and allows for easy burping of excess gas or pressure. I have not leaked a drop. Plus, the ability to do two 120/220 rolls at once, or three 35mm rolls really make it much easier for my processing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works, but not the best quality. This tank works, but the plastic parts don't seem to be very good. If you use the agitator it will rub on the bottom of the tank and shave off plastic bits that end up floating around in any chemicals that you reuse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from There's a reason this is the standard I've been using these tanks in every darkroom i've been to. Particularly because plastic reels are easier to load than metal ones. I'm always happy with my results. These tanks are simple. My main issue is they can crack but if you treat them nicely they'll last a long time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I like the old Paterson tank better The newly designed tank is cheaply made and over priced. The lid is poorly designed and hard to make it fit tight. I hate leaking chemicals. I wish the Chinese will copy the old style tank and sell it 1/3 of the current price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tank--Saves Time--Worth the Money Saves so much time: 3 35mm or 2 120's. Wish I bought this months ago. Only problem is sealing the lid take a little bit of time which is important during development however, i totally recommend this tank.
