The Paterson Super System 4 Multi-Reel 5 Tank is constructed from high-impact polystyrene that stands up to high volume use. This tank has no hidden parts, and is always easy to keep clean.

The Super System 4 Tanks are durable, easy to use, and provide consistent, even film development.

They feature a unique snap-in light trapping funnel for quick filling and emptying, to ensure even development and precise processing times.

Super System 4 Tanks offer a choice of agitation methods; use inversion agitation,  rotary agitation with the removable agitator rod supplied, or a combination of both.

Note: these tanks are supplied without reels so that a system best suited to the users needs can be built up.

Takes up to five 35mm films, or three 120/220 films
The thoughtful design of Super System 4 includes a funnel which locks in place to keep reels secure. And as an extra safety feature, the cap cannot be locked if the funnel is improperly seated.
Chemicals pour without splash, and solution quantities are permanently indicated on the bottom of every tank.
All parts are interchangeable.
The Super System 4 is simpler to load, faster to fill and easier to clean than any other tank.
A large diameter one piece lid and funnel which clips into place positively and securely, enabling the tank to be filled and emptied quickly.

Multi-Reel 5 Tank (Super System 4) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I develop 3 rolls of B&W 120 film in one go with this tank and the Super System 4 reels. The top seemed loose-fitting and I was slightly skeptical that it would keep out the light or that it would keep from opening accidentally when I was pouring out chemistry. (The top just snaps into place when you rotate it.) But it works great and is much easier to open when you're ready than some of the other designs, including a similar looking tank with a threaded top. The device for rotating the reels in the chemistry works well, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from as expected I am a graduate student in photography and I process large amounts of medium format film at a time. This tank is great, 3 rolls for a reasonable price. Only thing is that the bottom rim chips when you hit it on the sink to release bubbles...makes for a rough edge to work with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, yet light weight Solid peices fit together well. Easy to work with in the dark/ while loading reels. Light weight, good for inversion aggitation when full of reels and solution. Aggitator and large funnel help reduce fill/ first aggitation time-loss providing more consistant results. Dump solutions quickly with all-around-the-funnel purge. Reels are a little pricey and the 'semi'-auto load ball bearings take some gettin use to but worth doing so, again, for more consistant results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As expected Just like the smaller version of the same tank which I already owned, this one works flawlessly. It just made it easier to do 5 rolls of 35mm at once, instead of being limited to 2, like my smaller version. The reels (not included) are much easier to load than the steel reels, and the positive locking cover makes it easy to know everything is in correctly, even in total darkness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved so much time! I had been using the Super System 4 tank that held just one reel of 120 film, but this does three at a time. Likewise, when I processed 35mm film, I could do two before, but now I can do five. This has cut down on the amount of time that I spend developing the film and I could not be happier. The loading mechanism and agitator are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I've been using the Paterson 3 reel tank for years. Recently I started shooting medium format film and the 3 reel only does 1 reel of MF. So I stepped up to this bad boy. 3 reels of MF at once? Excellent! It works perfect, lid is a little stiff at first but loosens up quick. Buy it, use it, love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Developing System For The Money!!!! I have been using this developing system for over twenty years, and it has consistently given me great negatives. I used the metal reels at first with other systems and it wasn't the same. This is the best system for your money. It really works great when developing with Caffenol-C recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the size you need As usual Paterson works perfect, I had the one single roll 120 or 2 35mm but it always took to much time to develop all, with this you save more time and some chemicals too. I would revoke d above the single roll.
