The Tiffen 67mm Graduated 0.6 ND Digital HT Filter is a graduated neutral density filter that helps to specifically darken skies and other bright areas of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a feathered line between the density and clear areas. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 0.6 density provides a 2 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. This filter also features a rotating filter ring for flexibility when placing the density over specific areas of the scene.

The Digital HT coating is a high transmission multi-coating that surpasses military specifications for hardness and durability. This optical purity combined with high scratch-resistance results in an easy-to-clean filter with superb imaging quality. They also feature low-profile titanium filter rings for increased strength and vignetting reduction.

0.6 ND graduated filter for darkening skies and other bright areas of the image.
Feathered edge is neither soft nor hard, providing a natural-appearing taper between the density and clear areas of the filter.
Neutral density filters do not affect the overall coloration of the image.
Rotating filter ring allows more control over placement of density in the image.
Digital HT multi-coating provides increased strength, durability, and optical clarity for greater light transmission and protection against scratches.
Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting to precision metal rings.

67mm Graduated 0.6 ND Digital HT Filter is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lubricant spots everywhere on the glass I have only taken a few trial shots with the 67mm & 77mm 0.6 Grad HT Filters, but have spent a good hour on each filter trying to clean the lubricant spots off the glass...and they're still not clean...and every time the cleaning microfiber cloth comes close the the metal ring, more lubricant smears across the glass. The trial shots look fine, but I am surprised that a highly rated product would be so filthy fresh out of an unopened box. I'm keeping these with the hope they'll eventually quit 'bleeding' lubricant onto the glass, but will be sticking with my usual brand from now on. I would not recommend these to a friend. I rarely review products, but this situation is really annoying - be forewarned and good luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Solution I like to be out shooting during mid-day. This filter is my solution to all the washed out skies that have filled my sunlit shots. The graduated ND from Tiffen is easy to use and the glass is high quality. Multiple coatings make a real difference in full sunlit situations. Worth the extra money! I look forward to using it on an upcoming trip to shoot some water features. I did look for some slip on lens protectors because my conventional caps will not fit the filter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Initial Quality This was my 3rd Tiffen filter. The filter came so dirty it was unbelievable. There was also an inclusion of some sort where the glass met the frame that caught the light and could have given a reflection in the image. I returned it. For 67mm, spend the extra money and get the B+W like I did the second time. I should have known though - I had a 52mm of this Tiffen filter and had to return the first one for scratches out of the box. Second 52mm worked good so it is too bad they cannot get their initial quality control up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Considered this an Essential I suspect this is going to become one of my most utilized pieces of camera gear. I shoot alot of landscape and outdoor scenes...i should have bought one of these filters decades ago. Though the amount of light contrast in a scene can often call for even more than this filter's 2 stops, as my first graduated filter, it's probably a nice amount of light gradation for the largest number of instances when i'll reach for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from handy in high contrast scenes I purchased this to help cut down the contrast between the sky and land in my landscape photos. I have not had a chance to use it much yet, but can say it works well. The carrying case is also a plus, not having to deal with the hard plastic cases many other filters come in. The only downside to this is that in some situations the sky is so bright that a 0.9 graduated filter would work better, but hey - one filter can't fit all situations. For most situations, it does exactly what I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from control contrast I live in the Pacific Northwest where the contrast between the dark green of evergreens against the sky can present contrast challenges to a photographer. A graduated neutral density filter allows you some measure of control and the ability to enhance detail. Tiffen HT filters are among the best you can buy, with durable coatings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Filter Tiffen filters are very high quality, and the only filters that I know still made in the USA.This graduated glass filter is very useful for horizon shots such as costal work, it can be rotated 360 degrees, and when used with care it will reduce post processing time a bunch. I have also used this filter with good results over mountain/valley shots to balance the sky values. The filters are multi coated and very tough, also easily cleaned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Landscape Photos This high quality ND 0.6 filter has produced gorgeous photographs, especially at the ocean. I shoot a lot of landscapes and love the graduated effect.
