This optical purity combined with high scratch-resistance results in an easy-to-clean filter with superb imaging quality. They also feature low-profile titanium filter rings for increased strength and vignetting reduction.

0.6 ND graduated filter for darkening skies and other bright areas of the image.
Feathered edge is neither soft nor hard, providing a natural-appearing taper between the density and clear areas of the filter.
Neutral density filters do not affect the overall coloration of the image.
Rotating filter ring allows more control over placement of density in the image.
Digital HT multicoating provides increased strength, durability, and optical clarity for greater light transmission and protection against scratches.
Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting to precision metal rings.

Received my tiffen Nd filter on time and used it that night on some sunset pics. Great improvement from just a plain polarized filter. Am heading to UP in Michigan in a couple weeks to give it a try on water falls. Can’t wait. Very satisfied. Thanks B&h. Jim

Poor Initial Quality

This was my 3rd Tiffen filter. The filter came so dirty it was unbelievable. There was also an inclusion of some sort where the glass met the frame that caught the light and could have given a reflection in the image. I returned it. For 67mm, spend the extra money and get the B+W like I did the second time. I should have known though - I had a 52mm of this Tiffen filter and had to return the first one for scratches out of the box. Second 52mm worked good so it is too bad they cannot get their initial quality control up.

question

I have a Polarizer filter , do I need a Graduated HD filter for high contrast photos?
