The 49mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap from Sensei is a front lens cap with a squeeze, spring, and snap-on mechanism. It is easy to put on and take off, especially when using a lens hood, and it stays on. Lens caps protect your lens from scratches, fingerprints, and the elements when the lens is not in use. It's always good to have a spare in your camera bag, too.

49mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 72.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice quality, has Sensei logo on front I bought this for my X100T and it works fine when using it with the lens hood. It's constructed well and seems like it will last. My gripe is that the photo shows a generic looking, no logo lens cap, but this is prominently branded Sensei on the front.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice cap for the money I got this for my Fuji x100s, so that when traveling with the camera in my bag, it would be extra protected, even with the lens hood on. I probably won't be using it that much, but I'm glad to know it's there, in case I want to throw the camera in my bag. Quality seems at least as good as any canon cap I've had, but with the better pinch design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work really well. I purchased this cap to use with a Fuji X100s camera. Although the pop on lens cover that comes with this Fuji camera is cool looking, it is very easy for it to pop off as one is walking about. It is not really a secure fit. This Sensei lens cap, however, is a secure fit and will protect your lens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine, not a requirement When I was buying a Pentax 15 mm Limited lens the reviews suggested the included lens cap was a pain to work with and that this lens cap was, while cheap and plastic, better than the included cap. This lens cap works fine and was a good value for the price, but I actually prefer the screw-on lens cap that came with the 15 mm Limited lens. For this reason I do not use this cap. This is not really a fair review, as the lens cover does what it is supposed to do and does it well. However, for folks buying the Pentax 15 mm limited lens don't assume you need this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect cap Bought this for our new Pentax 15mm lens that came with a screw-on cap. This fits perfectly and is much simpler to use out in the field.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grippy This cap is cheap, but functional and the centre pinch is easy to grip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good lens caps These are tight fitting and use the springiness of the plastic they are mad from rather than an unreliable metal boing! spring. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that for my fingers, they are a bit more awkward then the Canon lens caps on many of my lenses. This only applies to pinching the inner grabbers and may not be an issue for you. Certainly they are excellent value!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A well made lens cap I bought this to use with my Fuji X100T with the lens hood. I wanted something good and cheap as a replacement lens cap, since I can't use the original one that came with the camera. The plastic of it feels well made and sturdy, and if I lose it I can always buy another, since it's cheap enough to not worry about. I'm glad that this lens cap is black to match my all black camera. When it's on the camera it feels like it has a nice grip, feels snug enough to not make me worry if it would fall off. When I remove/replace it from the camera, the mechanism inside seems tight enough to keep it well placed on the camera, but I'll see how well this holds up after removing/replacing it from the camera after a few weeks or months of use. My only complaint is that it has the Sensei branding on it instead of being blank like in the product photo, but I figure this branding is subtle enough to not make much difference anyway.
