Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best step-down for under five bucks I tested (via Canon CPS) a Canon EF 16-35mm /2.8L II USM and a 5D mark III for a outdoor video shoot. I have a 77mm ND filter for two other primes I own and wanted a cost effective way to use it on the 16-35mm. I was very happy to find B&H sold this Sensei step-down ring for under five dollars as I only needed it for a weekend. Female threads are inside male threads for less filter push out. I did get occasional vignetting on full wide. Not surprised as the filter is smaller and maybe an 1/8 forward and I was using a full frame camera (5DM3) with the ring. Vignetting was random only on full wide. Might be due to lens elements shifting for focus? Not a deal breaker for my situation, I just pushed in a hair when it happened. The ring saved me hundreds and I'm thankful B&H had a slim priced ring. Thanks B&H! PS I didn't have any jamming, cross thread or other issues. Material seemed as good as other rings I have. I would recommend it for the money any day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, effective and inexpensive I bought this step-down ring to go adapt the ExpoDisc 2.0 to 82mm lenses. It's very simple, but well made and works great. I'm really happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a real sensei It has been bought for a Nikon AF 300mm f4 D lens...noticed slight vignetting with polarization filter but I can live with that...it seems that Sensei has a big offer of different step up and down filter rings, I bought several of them...I like their strength, specifically finish and thickness...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it! OK, so I have bought filters for each of my various size lenses but I needed something to adapt my new 77mm white balance filter to my 82mm lenses. I figured this was worth a try and I am totally impressed! Great build, small price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with my 82mm, but... Works great on my 82mm (when I am not using my LEE foundation kit adapter) can notice vignetting which is to be expected. Very rigid design for the cheap price which is nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great. Great product. I bought this to use on my sigma 150-600 lens during the eclipse. I could only find a 77 mm solar filter. This allows me to use the filter on the 95 mm lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well The reason i bout this was to be able to use my 77 mm pl circular filter. Works fine. Cons - U may see vignetting if the filter is thick ( on 16mm lens, FF DSLR)
