Celestron engineered their Luminos 19mm Eyepiece to provide you with a comfortable 82° field of view, and made the entire series parfocal, allowing you to change it out with other Luminos eyepieces without having to adjust the focus. This allows you to spend more time viewing while reducing the chance of hitting the scope out of alignment. This model features a 6-element lens configuration and is fully multi-coated to improve image brightness and contrast. Its 2" diameter barrel fits the same size drawtube or accessories, and has machined filter threads to accept eyepiece filters. Made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with an anodized finish, the body has a slip-resistant rubber collar, and an innovative retractable eyecup that pops up when you need it and drops down when you don't with a simple twist.

Nice!!
I was hesitant to buy this eyepiece because of the Edge of field brightness claims. We'll im glad i did this is my favorite eyepiece very comfortable to use good eye relief. Used it on a F6 newtonian and couldn't really notice any edge of field brightness different from my other eyepieces. My 28mm Astrotech UWA was pretty similar on the edge brightness not an issue for me. It wasn't quite as sharp on the outer edge as the 28mm but was fine for me. The 19mm is a sweet spot for power veres brightness. The only real negative i could see was some dirt in the inner lens. I unscrewed the barrell and it blew righ tout problem solved.
Really nice eyepiece
Views are outstanding. Build quality exceptional. Like the eye relief. If you are going to get just one 2 Luminos this would be your best choice. Not to big or heavy.
