The 67mm Screw-on Tulip Lens Hood from Sensei mounts onto your camera lens to prevent glare and lens flare by blocking out stray light. The lens hood also adds shock absorption to help protect your lens from impact damage. It easily screws onto any lens with a 67mm diameter and includes a locking collar for consistent positioning. As this lens hood can be used with lenses of varying focal lengths, its tulip shape is designed to prevent vignetting while still blocking unwanted light from entering your lens. The hood is ideal for full-frame lenses with focal lengths longer than 20mm, and APS-C lenses with focal lengths longer than 15mm.

Does not work well with 18 mm lens. It is shows up on the image. I think that is called vignetting.

Will this fit a 85 mm f/1.8 AF nikon lense?
Will this fit a 85 mm f/1.8 AF nikon lense?
This lens hood would work on the Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.8 G.

Will this work with RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens?
No. I bought it for my 100/2.8 macro lens which is 67mm at the front of the lens. 24-105mm has a diameter of 77mm, so it wouldn't fit.

Will this fit a Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 lens?
While the Sensei 67mm hood will fit the Canon 100-400mm RF lens, it is not the best match for the lens. This Vello is designed specifically for the Canon 100-400mm RF as well as the Canon 70-300mm IS II lens: https://bhpho.to/3GbXL6i

question
Will this fit and work properly on a Nikon 24-85 AFs lens (non vr version) and will it accept the Nikon 67 mm lens cap ?
The hood will screw in to the filter threads but you will not be able to use the lens cap. And the dedicated hood for the AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED (3.5x) is the HB-28. It is no longer made by Nikon and at this time we do not have one used. With that hood you can put it on reverse and use the cap on the lens.

Is this hood rubber or some other material?
Is this hood rubber or some other material?
It is some kind of plastic and definitely not a pliable rubber. It was served me well on my 20mm wide angle.

question

question
Will this work on the Canon SX50HS ?
You could use the sensei 67mm screw-on lens hood with the SX50 HS, though you would need the Canon Filter Adapter FA-DC67A (B&H# CAFADC67A): the SX50 HS doesnt have a standard front filter thread. You would be better off using one of the bayonet hoods designed for the SX50. They dont require an adapter.http://bhpho.to/1nn2qS6
