question

Will this interfere with my Auto focus? It seems cinching something around the lens hood would prevent the lens (Canon EF 75-300 USM with dedicated lens hood) for properly auto-focusing. I want to use this to shoot wildlife at a feeder from a tripod using a wireless remote.
Asked by: Chris
No, the LensCoat RainCoat RS does not impair or prohibit autofocus capability.

Is it useful for a Nikon D7100 with a Sigma 17-50 and a Nikon 70-300 VR?
Asked by: Agustin
Yes you can use it for both configurations but of course when using it with the 17-50mm, it will droop over more but will still be usable.

No, not really. If you are looking for a cover that allows access to the lens, I would recommend the Think Tank Hydrophobia, click on the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2lUbMAP

Wondering if this size is overkill for use with a Nikon 24-70mm 2.8? It will be fine for my 70-200mm 2.8, but I want to just try one size for (hopefully) both lenses.
Asked by: Brian
This will be bulky for your 24-70 but it will work. You can shorten the length of the lense cover. Having a cover that is larger than I need is the philosophy I used when I purchased my LensCoat.
