I hesitated getting these for a long time. Now that I have them on my Sony MDR-7506 headphones I love them. They are so comfortable! Prefect fit on the headphones just like the original earpads.

They're comfortable and do help to filter out noise. The only issue is that I didn't get the color I chose.

No, the Auray Genuine Sheepskin Leather Earpads (Pair) BH #AUEPSMDR7506 are not compatible with the Sony MDR-V500 headphones. BH #DEMDRV700DJS, are compatible with the V500.

What is the procedure to replace the worn-out pads on a set of Sony MDR7506 headphones?

You will need to carefully pull out the old pads and stretch them to get them out. Once they are removed, repeat the procedure with the new pads to install them. It's a relatively simple procedure and you should be good in a few minutes enjoying the new pads.
