The Sigma USB Dock allows you to connect your Sigma Global Vision lenses to your computer in order to update firmware and adjust focus setting parameters using the Sigma Optimization Pro software.

This dock is only compatible with the Sigma Art, Contemporary, and Sports line lenses featuring a Canon EF lens mount.

Sigma Optimization Pro
Once a Sigma Art, Contemporary, or Sports line lens is connected, you can use the Sigma Optimization Pro software to configure focus settings and update lens firmware.
Focus Settings
For all lines of lenses, there are four categories for prime lenses and 16 categories (four options for focal length, four options for shooting distance) for zoom lenses available. These categories allow you to set certain focusing settings to better suit your personal shooting style.
Sports Line-Specific Settings
If using a Sports line lens, additional lens configurations are available: three different AF speed modes to modify how quickly the lens changes focus; the ability to constrain focus distances within a specific range to suit your personal shooting habits; and three Optical Stabilizer modes to suit the manner in which you are shooting.

USB Dock for Canon EF-Mount Lenses is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 133.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it if you use relevant Sigma lens I ordered the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens from B&H, but didn't immediately order the docking station. After looking at some reviews that suggested getting the USB Dock with the lens I went back onto the B&H website and placed the order. It was in time to come in the box with the lens. It was a simply process to download the software from Sigma, plug in the USB Dock, attach the lens as though I was attaching it to the camera, and checking for any updates to the firmware. It is a great way to keep the lens up to date without having to send it back to Sigma. I love the idea of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary Accessory I have a new Sigma 50mm F1.4 Art lens that front focused badly on three different Canon cameras. Initially I tried to compensate by using the Micro Focus adjustment in each of the cameras, which mostly solved the problem for relatively close distances, but then when focusing on more distant objects the focus would be behind the subject (back focus). After buying this USB Dock and spending some time customizing the focus settings, the lens now focuses where it should at all working distances. I am now very pleased with both the dock and the lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sigma dock is well worth the money So i have to say i am very pleased and glad Sigma was innovative enough to come up with a product like this. The ability to adjust the Focus speed and accuracy and change the OS type in my 150-600C lens made it even better then out of the box. The Dynamic OS you can turn on with this dock makes the OS in the lens amazing in how well it is rock solid looking through the viewfinder and how amazing it works at removing shake. I can get a sharp image at 1/40 shutter at 600mm. I havnt needed it yet but the ability to adjust the lens at every focal range and distance makes it just an invaluable tool if your camera MA cant cut it. it saves having to send it to Sigma for calibration and can do firmware updates via the dock to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine Tunes Your Lens Out of the box, my 150-600mm was pretty good with short focal lengths, but became increasingly short of focus as focal lengths increased. Now my lens is spot on. I'm giving only 4 stars because the calibration procedure is not quick and dirty. You have to take repeated test shots are four distances, using four focal lengths, for a total of 16 different test shots. However, patience and meticulous attention to detail will be rewarded. My DOF is right in the center of my focus point at all distances, and focal lengths.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Addition to good lens Can be used to update Firmware, if it ever needs to be updated. Only have the sigma 150-600 C to use this dock with. Set the custom functions to give 1) more accurate focus with a more noticeable OS response and to give 2) a faster auto-focus with OS response for a moving camera Panning etc. Very happy with the way that it works the difference is very noticeable. As bought I felt the lens OS was not as good as other lens I had, After adjustment, strengthening the OS for still subjects I am much happier with it. The dock is a worthy addition to the lens and would be even better if you had multiple Len's to fit it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool for my Sigma Art lens! I use this dock to manage my Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 lens (which I also recommend among 50mm lenses available for use with Canon EOS). This useful tool allows me to manage my lens, including important things like autofocus microadjustments to get tack-sharp accurancy. What I like about this dock? It is very easy to use and easy to afford. You literally just go to the download page and you can get the software to use it with. It's very minimalistic. Straight to the point. It comes with a cap. There is a reason behind that. Like all things you connect to lenses, it can collect very much undesired dust if left unprotected. Keep that dock clean. What I don't like about it Nada. Nothing. It's a neat product and if you own a Sigma lens that works with it, you should get it to make the best of your system. =

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a lens that is Good into a GREAT lens This little dock has a tremendous ability to fine tune the focus on your lens to your camera...a terrific tool. My new Sigma 150-600 was focusing a few feet in front of the desired focus area(s) at several key distances...without this device, I would have been unhappy and sent the lens back. This device, within 10 minutes of moving the focusing points around, increased the sharpness and accuracy to a point where I said, YES!!! This is what a super-telephoto lens should be! I HIGHLY recommend you get this dock for any lens that it works with (and currently, there is a limited number, so do your research). We decided on the spot the next lenses we buy will all be compatible with this little gem. Bravo to a simplistic tool that can do magic--and firmware updates, too! (Any lens company should offer such a great tool for their products; so far Sigma has the edge.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy I was having a lot of focus issues with my Sigma 30mm 1.4 prime lens. This dock was very helpful in sorting out those issues. I would suspect this dock would be even more handy with a zoom lens. It would be really cool if this dock came with a calibration chart of some kind. Even just a piece of paper with a guide on how to properly calibrate a lens.
