Sigma 878110 Overview

The Sigma USB Dock allows you to connect your Sigma Global Vision lenses to your computer in order to update firmware and adjust focus setting parameters using the Sigma Optimization Pro software.

This dock is only compatible with the Sigma Art, Contemporary, and Sports line lenses featuring a Sigma SA lens mount.

Sigma Optimization Pro
Once a Sigma Art, Contemporary, or Sports line lens is connected, you can use the Sigma Optimization Pro software to configure focus settings and update lens firmware.
Focus Settings
For all lines of lenses, there are four categories for prime lenses and 16 categories (four options for focal length, four options for shooting distance) for zoom lenses available. These categories allow you to set certain focusing settings to better suit your personal shooting style.
Sports Line-Specific Settings
If using a Sports line lens, additional lens configurations are available: three different AF speed modes to modify how quickly the lens changes focus; the ability to constrain focus distances within a specific range to suit your personal shooting habits; and three Optical Stabilizer modes to suit the manner in which you are shooting.

be careful what you order

I ordered this as I have SIGMA 35 Art lens. I misread the listing since it said for 'sigma lenses' and was sent the Sigma mount, but actually needed the Nikon mount. Be mindful of what you're ordering. Return period has passed, leaving me with an unneeded dock.

Great way to fine tune lens

I have a Sony a6500 with a Sigma 150-600mm lens. Is there a dock that will work with this lens?
Asked by: John
The Sigma USB Dock for Sony A-Mount Lenses is only compatible with your Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG lens if the lens have a dedicated mount to Canon EF, Canon EF-M, Leica-L, Nikon F, Pentax K, Sigma SA, or Sony A (DSLR cameras). TYou could only attached those lenses if you were using an adaptor. If you are connecting your lens directly to the camera mount, you own a Sony E mount lens. At this Sigma has not yet realease a dock station for Sony E mount.

question

I'm a little confused about the lens/mount requirements. I have a Nikon D610 camera and am going to purchase the Sigma contemporary 150-600mm lens for my Nikon camera. Which dock do I purchase...the one fpr sigma lenses or another for (Nikon) F-Mount lenses??
Asked by: Chester
I though I'm the only one who was concerned about it! I purchased a wrong one, had to pay for shipping to return an item and still waiting for a replacement. It makes common sense to get Sigma dock for sigma lenses since you are getting a sigma lens. But it appears you need to get a dock for the thread of your camera. For example I was getting Sigma lens with Canon mount for my Canon 7D and I needed to get a dock for canon lenses not SIGMA! Hope that makes sense.

question

Is this dock compatible with Sigma 150-600 Sports Lens?
Asked by: Saimir S.
Thank you for your interest in Sigma products. The USB Dock is compatible with the 150-600mm Sports lens. You just have to make sure that lens mount is the same as the USB Dock. For example, If the 150-600mm Sports lens is for Canon, then you will need the Canon mount USB Dock. The USB Dock will work with our Art, Sport, Contemporary lenses. However it will not work with the DN lenses.

question

Is any kind of calibration aid (i.e., test chart) needed with this, or does the dock and software do it all?
