Bought this for Minolta 58mm lens to go to Leica M3. Fits perfectly.

Not support Tachart adapter on Sony A7rII

I bought this adapter only for using the Minota MD 250/f5.6 mirror lens on Sony A7rII to get the auto focus feature. It functions but cannot focus properly; manual focus is ok.

question

What is the effective change in the adapted lens' focal length? E.g., for a 40mm lens, what is its effective focal length when used with the adapter?
Asked by: Bob
The adapter will not change the focal length of the lens.

question

How does one deal with the focus in the rangefinder using this adapter?
Asked by: Timothy L.
As the FotodioX Minolta MD/MC Pro Lens Adapter does not have electronic contacts, and does not transmit information from the lens to the camera, autofocus is not possible when using this adapter. You will have to focus manually when using a manual-focus Minolta MD/MC mount lens on a Leica M-mount camera.
