Microphone Preamps (XLR Preamplifiers)
Microphone preamps use special circuits to amplify low signal levels up to the standard operating level of your recording equipment. Many computer audio interfaces and systems have internalized preamplifier circuits, but you can also use a dedicated external preamp.
