Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a lens cap! It's just a lens cap. What can possibly go wrong?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lens cap! These Kaiser caps are fantastic, if a little expensive. I've used them to replace the easy-fall-off metal push-on caps on a bunch of vintage lenses. BUT: remember that you need to order the size of the OUTSIDE DIAMETER of the lens, NOT the filter size. For instance, Pentax lenses that take a 49mm filter (that's most of them) need a 51mm Kaiser cap. Correct size is usually, but not always, about 2mm bigger than the filter size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cap for all lenses I find it increadable this exists at all. Imagine being able to find a lens cap the correct size for an eighty year old lens. Now that I know about Kaiser caps, all my lenses, no matter how obscure will always have caps.
