This durable adapter will allow you these lenses to be mounted to a Micro Four Thirds-mount camera. Precise construction makes it easy to attach an adapted lens to a camera body and keep it secure during use. Infinity focus is guaranteed, ensuring proper functionality when shooting at long distances. This adapter features a built-in manual aperture control ring that will allow the aperture of the lens to be controlled for adjusting exposure and depth of field.

The adapter is made from a durable zinc alloy for long life. Although the lens will fit physically, autofocus, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), and other functions dependent on communication between camera body and lens will be disrupted by the lens adapter. Focus and exposure will need to be set manually, or metered in aperture priority (stop-down) mode.

A simple way to expand your lens options

I like the feel of this adapter right away. It has some substance to it without being unnecessarily heavy, and the metal construction gives it a much more dependable feel than some of the lightweight adapters I've handled. The mounting surfaces are clean and the lens connection feels precise, which is important when you're putting a larger lens on an adapter. The aperture ring can be a helpful feature, especially for Nikon G lenses that don't have their own aperture ring. It keeps things fairly simple and gives you a physical way to adjust the aperture. This is also the kind of accessory I find useful for our student equipment program. I loan equipment to students for their film projects, and having adapters available gives them another way to work with lenses they already have. The overall construction is what impresses me most. The adapter feels like it can handle being mounted, removed, packed into a gear bag, and used over and over without needing to be babied. The matte interior is another nice detail, and the finish gives the whole adapter a professional look. It's a pretty simple piece of gear, but sometimes those are the accessories that end up being the most useful. This one gives you more options while feeling like it is built to last. Aperture ring won’t stay open

This adapter does what it supposed to as far as mounting Nikon lenses on M43 but the aperture ring slowly closes from its open position after about 30 seconds. It doesn’t have the strength to keep the aperture open so you must constantly hold it open. Makes it unusable for video work.
