Will this adapter successfully work with a Sony A7iii so that I can use my glass from a Canon AE-1 with the old Breach-lock FD lenses? Just curious before I buy this Vello brand. What does "Focusing to infinity is retained." mean? Can I focus on subjects near me with this adapter?
With some adapters from other manufacturers or from other systems, occasionally the physics involved in making the lens suitable for use can prevents lens from focusing at infinity (aka the furthest point possible). With this one, there will be no limitations for focusing at minimum or at infinity. :)

I just got a LA-NEX-FD adapter, but my FD lens aperture won't change when I adjust the aperture ring. Do you know what might be the issue? Thank you.
If I recall, there is a little pin inside the adaptor - which needs to be properly aligned with the - I don't know what you might call it on the lens bottom. Once that is aligned it will work. Took me a few tries to get those aligned, but once done, it works as it should.
