I have a L bracket (Arca Swiss), will this fit the PL-200 or will I need a different L bracket?
Asked by: Nancy
This head is only compatible with Manfrotto type plates. You would have to get an Arca Swiss compatible ball head. You can click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2RLwy35

I need a good tutorial on how to tighten the legs. This is my second tripod where the legs become loose over time. Can someone direct me to a tutorial?
Asked by: Raquel
Although there isn't a tutorial on this topic, Manfrotto suggests that 3 turns on the screw that secures the leg locks with the provided tool would suffice.

question

I have the optional Manfrotto 555B center column with adjustable half ball. I am able to remove the bottom adjustment knob so as to have a smooth bottom end of the center column. I know the new MT055CXPRO3 tripod legs has a single button feature to release the legs. Would I still be able to use my center column with these tripod legs? Even if I have to remove the adjustment knob to install it and them reinstall the knob again is ok with me. Even if it means I cannot use the one button feature. Thanks

The Manfrotto 555B center column with adjustable half ball will not work with that tripod. It works with these tripods, http://bhpho.to/1mruPHW

Can l turn the center column of this tripod upside-down? (If not which model allows me to do it?)
Asked by: Sergio
No you cant turn the center column upside-down. to get closer to the ground you can move the center column right up and turn it to 90 degrees and splay the legs to their widest point.

Are the carbon fiber legs more rigid than the aluminum? I ask bc I have the mt055pro3 aluminum but I think one of the sections bent slightly so getting it open and closed is a real hassle. Also, is there any concern with the carbon fiber breaking in cold weather?
Asked by: James
Actually cold weather is a reason to get a carbon fiber tripod; if you compare to the aluminum version you'll see a grip on one of the legs to be able to handle it, especially with bare hands. Carbon fiber is more rigid than metal and better for absorbing impact and vibrations.
