Excellent bag on the go. Keep the essentials all together in one bag.

Very capable smaller-sized bag

Have owned a few Think Tank bags so I knew quality would be top notch on the Retrospective 10 v2.0 bag and that was certainly the case. This is a bag that initially may seem almost a bit overbuilt but once used a few times it began to feel familiar and welcoming. Extremely well-thought out design that has left nothing to want. The only caveat IMO is pro-level bodies with smaller telephoto/prime lenses attached (for example, the Nikon Z9 w/Z 135 Plena or Nikon D6 w/24-70 2.8ED VR). Either of these bodies fit into the space intended within the bag, for me, lens facing down. The width of bag (12) allows additional items to sit either side of the camera, even a second small lens. The depth (9.7) is sufficient so that the body and lens are completely down in the bag. The caution is the front to back dimension (6.7) within bag is just big enough to allow this type of camera to feasibly fit. It will go in but will really fill the bag in that dimension (it is comfortably snug). This wasn't a deal breaker at all for me but the bag is definitely maxed out in that regard.

Will it fit a Canon 7D Mark 2 with a battery grip and Tamron 18-400mm lens attached? If so, how many other lenses could be packed as well?
Asked by: Jerry
It should be able to fit with no problem. It is able to fit my Sony A7iii with a grip on and also an a7riv without a grip with a Tamron 28-75mm and a Sony 90mm macro lenses on them respectively. Besides these, it’s also able to fit two more lenses. I normally carry a Sony 70-200mm and also an 85mm at the same time with the two camera bodies I talked about earlier. After all these, the inner compartment is able to take my 13” MacBook Pro whiles the outer compartment fits my 11” inch iPad Pro. I hardly carry the MacBook Pro and iPad Pro which always gives me some flexibility. Carrying both of them makes it a bit tight. And don’t forget you have two pockets in the front of the bag that can also carry some other accessories.

Will this fit Microsoft 12.3" Multi-Touch Surface Pro 6 ? … Thank you.
Asked by: Mahmoud
It might be a snug fit, but it looks like it may work. The Laptop/Tablet compartment dimensions for the Think Tank Photo Retrospective 10 V2.0 Shoulder Bag are listed as 11.4 x 9.1 x 1.0", while the dimensions of the Microsoft 12.3" Multi-Touch Surface Pro 6 is listed as 11.5 x 7.9 x 0.3". The length of the Surface Pro is almost exactly the length of the compartment, which may be the only issue, which is why I say it is snug. As this is a new item that has not yet been released, I would recommend purchasing the case, and if it does not work for your usage needs, we do have a 30-Day Return Policy that would allow you to return the case for an exchange or a refund (subject to the terms & conditions on our Return Policy).
