Hoodman for Glasses: not quite big enough

I bought the Hoodman for glasses to take the glare out that was coming from the side and upper lateral part of my left eye (left eye dominant). It was easy to change of the native eyepiece, attach the Hoodman to the Z9. Rotating it for a left eye took some figuring out, but it was as easy as forcibly rotating the rubber hood. Unfortunately, with my particular glasses, it did not cut out enough of the incoming sidelight unless I smashed my face and glasses into the Hoodman. I don't think this is a design flaw, but my glasses just stick out a bit from the side of my face., more than average.

I purchased this for my Z8. It was easy to install. Build quality is very good. The only aspect that I feel needs a little improvement is the rubber material. It's a bit stiff and pushes up against my eyeglasses. If it was a little softer and more pliant I think it would fit better. Overall it works fine and am satisfied with my purchase.
