Asked by: Curt
Filters, do not refract light at all, so they are not ground, however polarizers are etched. Tiffen filters are manufactured in New York, California and England. I hope this helps.

question

I have a D600 (full-frame) and want to purchase the correct filters. Is the only difference in the 62mm filters and the 62mm wide angle filters the vignetting if on a cropped sensor camera?
Asked by: natalie
Our Wide Angle filters do not have front filter threads. This is done to decrease the likelyhood of vignetting when shooting at lower (wide angle) focal lengths. especially with cropped sensor cameras. Other than this fact, the filters are the same.
