As the Canon EOS T3i DSLR camera uses the E3 2.5mm sub-miniphone remote terminal connection, the Vello RS-C1II Wired Remote Switch for Select Cameras with 2.5mm Sub-Mini Connections, B&H # VERSC1II, would be the correct remote for your needs.
