Is this adapter slim? I would like to adapt a Peleng 8mm fisheye to a Canon 7D to reduce vignetting. There is a Canon EF Mount version but with the cost of more vignetting. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thank you.
This adapter is very slim and I haven't seen any vignetting on my 5DkmIV. I'd watch out for any flange that might stick out from the back of the lens - using Pentax M42 mount lenses, they have a flange for actuating the shutter and my mirror smacks it, which is not good at all. Just take a loot at the lens and if something stick out of the mounting side, I'd get a different adapter that gives you more room.

Does this change the lens focal length for crop sensor or full frame? Does this change the lens f stop? Thanks!!
It does neither. If you are using 35mm lenses with an M42 mount they will crop according to the crop factor of the sensor of the camera you are fitting them to with this adapter. I used this adapter together with a Metabones Canon - Sony E-mount adapter too. No change in focal length other than the sensor crop factor. There is no F-stop change either. Hope this helps!
