I have the Canon 7D, APS-C sensor. Will I lose any field of view or will I have vignetting when using this adapter for my OM lenses ?
Asked by: Michael
No, it will not. Just to make sure other customers reading this are on the same page though, this is an adapter for OM-mount lenses and not lenses meant for current OM-D cameras. The Olympus OM-mount is a 35mm full-frame mount designed for film cameras, and will cover up to a full-frame sensor, so you'll be all dandy using this great adapter! :)

question

Will it provide infinity focus of oly 21mm3.5 Lens on Canon 6D?
Asked by: Anonymous
All Olympus OM mount lenses have the same register (flange focal distance), so any OM mount lens will be able to retain infinity focus with this adapter as this is a feature of this adapter: it is designed/machined to enable OM mount lenses to retain the correct flange focal distance.

question

I want to use OM lenses on a Canon SL2. What difference does the focus confirmation chip do in this equation?
Asked by: Toma A.
The confirmation chip electronically interfaces with the cameras focus confirmation system. This means when you have achieved focus, the little green dot shows up in bottom right of the viewfinder and the camera chirps. This is a valuable feature that you will appreciate over the long term.
