FotodioX FD-EOS-PRO Reviews

Well designed

Bought this as a replacement for a previously purchased adapter. The ring on the other adapter broke and could no longer lock in place. Fotodio X design has a fairly solid construction, especially around the locking mechanism. Another design point that I appreciate is the work on the cover. Sometimes I do photography at night and I need to be able to differentiate the top from the bottom, which this pattern for the lens mount makes easy to recognize and work from. With the overall construction. It allows my lens to focus to Infinity l. I have not had any issues adapting or using vintage lenses that are FD mounts.

Great addition to my camera

Purchase went very smoothly. Adapter is mechanically very sound. Perfect fit and secure. The only negative is the adapter lens glass does not appear to be as optical quality as the lens it is adapting. Still well worth having it.

Has anyone had any success adapting any of these lenses to a Canon EOS camera using this Mount Adapter? question

Will this mount work for the old canon ftb lense and the magnicon on my canon rebel x eos? (all being film cameras)
Asked by: Emily P.
The FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Canon FD Lens to Canon EF Mount Camera should enable you to mount any lens you had used on the Canon FTb on the Canon EOS Rebel X. Though, keep in mind that there will be no electronic communication between camera and lens, so you will need to set everything manually.
