This Pro Lens Adapter from Fotodiox enables the use of your Konica AR lenses on Canon EF-mount DSLR cameras. It features a durable brass construction with stainless steel finish and a leaf spring ensures a secure connection between the lens and adapter. Additionally, through the use of a 1.4x multi-coated focus correction lens, this adapter is designed to maintain infinity focus. This correction lens can also be removed to render the adapter as an extension tube for macro shooting.

This manual adapter does not maintain automatic lens control between the camera and lens; aperture priority or manual shooting modes should be used, as well as stop-down metering for exposure control.

Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Konica AR Lens to Canon EF-Mount Camera is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but inconsistent. I bought this adapter because I wanted to be able to use my Konica Hexanon AR lenses (which are wonderful) with my Canon bodies. When I first got the adapter, I was somewhat disappointed. Most pictures I shot within 2 stops of wide open were too blurry to use, and depending on the intensity and angle of the primary light source, there would sometimes be a cloudy circular haze in the center of my pictures when using higher apertures (and a hood does nothing to compensate). These problems do not exist when using the lenses on the Konica cameras. After some persistence (i.e., forcing myself to shoot with the adapter more) I've determined that the blurryness when wide open is managable (and can even be used for an added dream-like effect), but the cloudy circular haze is something of a problem. Whenever I shoot in high intensity light, I try to take a few shots at different apertures and exposure-times to tame the haze. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. All in all, I'd say that this product is good for fun, personal shoots (and I've definitley gotten some great shots with it), but it's a little too inconsistent to really be used for paid work. So, my rating is 3 stars due to inconsistent image quality, but I'm also going to say that if you have a collection of Konica Hexanon AR lenses and a Canon body, I would certainly recommend buying this product (mostly because those lenses are so great, and it is quite fun to get to use them with a digital camera).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as promised This Konica AR to Canon EF mount adapter works great. I have not experienced any hazing that other people have complained about. A must have for people who want to enjoy their old Konica lenses. Only caveat is that it does create a 1.4x zoom effect, so i would use this adapter only on full frame cameras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Adapter and even better Customer Service This adapter lets me use my late Grandfathers Konica lenses with my Canon bodies, without quality loss. Many Konica adapters don't let you reach infinity or have some other downside, but thanks to the corrective glass, you can use the full range of the lenses. One downside, if you are on something like a T3i, you will notice a haze with certain lenses, but anything full frame you will be fine. The customer service is awesome. I purchased this mount last year, and thanks to the 2 year warranty, they answered my request of a broken spring withing minutes of me submitting the ticket, got my shipping info and order confirmation email, and sent me a new one in the mail. Its nice to feel so taken care of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Adapter for Hobbyist Photographer Purchased this adapter to use Konica AF Lenses that I inherited on my Canon EOS Rebel XS and it works nicely. I too have struggled a little bit with the haze that other reviewers have mentioned (on this site & others), but I think with more experience it can be largely avoided. Considering the fact that it's a $$investment to now be able to use 4 other lenses on my camera, I'd say it was a purchase well worth it (especially since it's just a hobby for me).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not really interesting Beau produit, bien fini, mais ne fonctionne pas avec un Hexanon 40mm F1.8. (Pas encore test avec d'autres)Mise au point l'infini OK, mais il subsiste un halo blanchtre tout autour de l'image, comme si il y avait du brouillard, indpendemment de l'ouverture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I expected from reading the previous reviews I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very well made and seems sturdy. I don’t know why, but I expected it to be the same type of plastic that some Canon lenses are made from, but it’s actually metal and very well built. It works just fine on my Canon 70D with Konica AR Bellows setup and also when directly attaching a few Konica Hexanon AR lenses which include a 300mm f4.5, 80-200mm f3.5, 50mm f1.7, and 35mm f2.8... The 35mm and 50mm have slight softening at wide open apertures on my 70D camera body, but it’s pretty nice in my opinion. The softening is not there when I use them reversed in the bellows for macro shots. I’ll take that minor issue on those two lenses in exchange for being able to use all four of these lenses directly on my DSLR especially the two small lenses on my old school macro setup with the 70D body. My Konica 80-200mm and 300mm are awesome on this setup with no problems whatsoever. I’ll be doing some bird and wildlife photography this weekend and pixel peeping in Darktable just to verify the sharpness, but so far (judging from zoomed images on back of camera) everything seems legit. I’ll post again if it ain’t sweetness!!! Seriously... For less than 40 fazoolies it’s dope as heck!!! I’m an avid 35mm film shooter ( even in 2018) and have a nice collection of Konica Autoreflex bodies and lenses that I’ve refurbished and truly enjoy, this little jobbie gives me the double pleasure of adding those Konica lenses to an expanding love for digital capture as well. Plus, it engages my creativity and my images can stand out from the cookie cutter crowd of images floating around the ether!!!! I hope... I WILL purchase again... I’ll get all the “other brand” to Canon adapters from this manufacturer then start buying old lenses for my 70D.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid build, but not necessarily perfect. I used this to attach an old Soligor 80-300mm lens to my Canon 60D. The adapter will solidly and firmly attach the two together, but I can't focus on anything closer than about 6 feet away. As its a zoom lens, it can still work in a lot of situations, but it's not ideal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits my T5 perfectly. Works very well with my grandpa's old Konica AR lenses. Gave me Old school control of a new school camera. I primarily use this adapter for dslr video shooting with my canon t5 . Didn't experience fogging or hazing in any way. Pleasantly surprised.
