question

Can K mount lens compatible with this adapter?
Asked by: Anonymous
No, if you trying to mount pentax k mount lenses on a canon body this is the adaptor you need: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1198967-REG/ However This specific adapter is only compatible with EF-S-type camera bodies due to how far back the rear element sits in the body, which could cause damage to larger EF camera systems. Additionally, it is a purely mechanical attachment and will not transmit information such as aperture or autofocus signals.

I see a question below about a 40mm maintaining the same focal length with this 1.4x adapter. though the focal length is the same, does the adapter affect the angle of view?
Asked by: Gregory
Yes, you're right; That answer says the focal length is maintained. As such, the field of view would also remain the same.
