Mobile videographers, rejoice! Tripod and accessory maker Joby has unveiled two new mini-tripod smartphone stands, designed to help users record smooth, steady video on the go. The stands are based on a smartphone mount, which clamps onto phones measuring between 2.2 and 3.6" wide, inclusive of protective bumpers or cases. The stand connects to a panning and tilting head that uses an aluminum arm for precise pan and tilt operation. The tilt function can be locked in place for a fluid pan without vertical movement.
