Good quality lens accessory

This ring has allowed me to use my polarizing filter on my Micro For Thirds lens. I have experienced no problems, and this appears to be a good quality item.

Make a Hood

Use this on OLY 14-42 and Panny 12-36 zooms. Screw on, add a 52mm Bower or other brand tulip hood and it makes a nice, inexpensive hood for a lens that otherwise doesn't provide for one. Does not vignette on these lenses. Not as good a solution as the typical hood attachment on the outside of the lens barrel because you can't reverse mount it or attach the lens cap. You have to remove the ring and hood for storage, or just the hood and use a 52nn lens cap on the ring if you want to store the ring/lens with the ring on it.

Functional and a great fit

I have a Sony camcorder with a 37mm filter thread and needed this size for my other lenses and filters. The quality of the product is great and the threads are smooth and fit perfectly with my camera and filter threads. You can tell with threads that are good quality by how smooth it attaches and this is definitely smooth. The black finish is very consistent and professional. I didn't see anything negative about this step up.

These new pro models are absolutely amazing as usual. Sensei never fails to impress as being THE BEST adapter rings available on the market! HIGHLY recommend these! They never strip and will certainly holdup in almost all conditions

This is a good quality step-up ring. It doesn't feel or look cheap, and threaded nicely on my lens.

Good stuff. Would buy another as needed.

Step-up/down rings make great tools to get utilization from filters vs having a size for each lens. Good threads, great buy.

Am planning to do these 1. step up from 37-52mm and then 2. step up from 52-67mm 3. Mount a 67mm CPL filter Will I be introducing vignetting in this setup? Appreciate all comments. Thanks in advance.

Assuming your lens is a micro 4/3 as a 37mm filter thread indicates a small lens size physically. The closest equivalent I could compare is a Panasonic 12-32mm at 12mm on a Lumix GX85, widest f-stop - 3.5 with a 37-58mm sensei pro stepup ring and then a 58mm 0ptex variable ND filter (output size is 67mm) and finally a 67mm Sensei pro lens hood. The filter and lens hood combined are 13mm deep before the hood starts it's "flare". I get no vignetting at all with this combination. Keep in mind this is on a micro 4/3 lens so is equivalent to only 24mm on a full frame system. I hope this helps.
