The Sensei PRO 72-77mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring permits the use of 77mm threaded filters on lenses with 72mm filter threads. It has large side knurls to provide a more textured grip when mounting or removing it from a lens. This step-up ring features a lightweight aluminum alloy construction with a corrosion-resistant, matte black, hard-anodized finish for durability and to minimize reflections.

I purchased both the 72-77 and 77-82 step-up rings and am very pleased with them as with my experience at B&H. As always, I had a good idea of what I was getting from descriptions, images and reviews. The B&H site is easy to navigate, fast and accurate. Shipping was quick and I have my rings in time for an upcoming trip.
Fits my filter to my lens with out pushing it out too far.

Can't wait to film a wedding
I have another step-up ring that has no ribs. It is attached to a circular polarizer. With the lack of ribs I can't separate them. If I ever get them apart I'm going to only use it with the Pro step-up ring. Very well built.
I have not given it the test of multiple on/off uses, but the initial impression and tests of the threads (male-side and female-side) were good. Both sides fit properly to lens and filter. Good way to use filters on different lenses that have differing sizes. When using a larger filter on a lens that uses a smaller size filter, the only consideration is does the shroud for the lens fit over the adapter ring.
