The Sensei PRO 39-62mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring permits the use of 62mm threaded filters on lenses with 39mm filter threads. It has large side knurls to provide a more textured grip when mounting or removing it from a lens. This step-up ring features a lightweight aluminum alloy construction with a corrosion-resistant, matte black, hard-anodized finish for durability and to minimize reflections.

Bigger on front than rear, round, aluminum, steps up as advertised. Priced OK, good service.
There are two reasons why the Sensei step-up rings with the side knurling are fantastic! They easily screw on and off the lens without any issue. The second reason is the plastic jewel case comes with a pre-cut circular foam padding for the exact largest filter size you chose for whatever step-up ring you buy. This circular foam padding only fits SLIM filters, including slim circular polarizers like the Hoya HD3. Thicker filters like the B+W standard circular polarizer won't fit. The dial is too thick. For now on I'm only buying Sensei step-up rings with side knurling when I need another filter plastic jewel case. In fact, my next B&H order I am going to buy this step-up ring again, even though I don't need the ring. The circular foam padding makes it so your filters don't move around in the case.
