iFi audio Go Link Reviews

Great even on efficient phones

I like the ifi sound. I also have their Bluetooth receiver and they sound similar. I have used this dongle with portapros, planar IEMs, hd6xx and some cheap earbuds. Any headphone sounds more full and dynamic with a bit more power. I do not use DSD or mqa, but it plays well with 24/192 from Qobuz. Only reason I took off a star is the braided cable between the connectors feels flimsy. I know this a relatively cheap dongle, but I hope it lasts me a long time commuting and traveling.

Disconnects constantly

I have had the golink for about three months and have done numerous firmware updates, but with the same result. The device will random create static and then stop playing. It almost sounds like it is shorting out. After repuggling the golink into my phone, the device works again for about one minute. The sound is noticeably improved, but due to its defectiveness, I will be attempting to return.
