since they are the same thread size. Look closely at both threads and verify if their are any deffects on the threads which is preventing the items to screw in.

If the filter thread on your lens is 58mm, then it will fit.

Are Tiffen filters multi-coated?
While some Tiffen filters are multi-coated, the Tiffen 77mm UV Protector Filter listed above is not. The Tiffen 77mm UV Haze 86 Digital HT Filter, B&H # TIH86DHT77, would be the only 77mm UV filter from Tiffen which would be multi-coated.

I don’t know but I would assume that a 77mm will fit all 77mm. If I were you I would go on line to B&H or call them.
