According to Vello, the dimensions they were able to provide are 2 1/4 in diameter and 9/16 thick.

And would it work on the new A7R camera, or is it dedicated for APSC sensors of the NEX series? If not, is there an M to E mount adapter you can recommend for full frame E-mount cams?

How much does this adapter alone weigh?
I'm using mine on 1959 Leica lenses. The weight of the adapter is not really noticeable compared with the weight of the lens. It is fun to be able to use the vintage optics with a modern digital camera!
