FotodioX OM35-NIKF-PRO Overview

This Pro Lens Adapter from Fotodiox enables the use of your Olympus OM lenses on Nikon F mount SLR and DSLR cameras. It features a durable brass construction with stainless steel finish and a leaf spring ensures a secure connection between the lens and adapter. Additionally, through the use of a 1.4x multi-coated focus correction lens, this adapter is designed to maintain infinity focus. This correction lens can also be removed to render the adapter as an extension tube for macro shooting.

This manual adapter does not maintain automatic lens control between the camera and lens; aperture priority or manual shooting modes should be used, as well as stop-down metering for exposure control.

Image quality was not what I had hoped to see. Build quality seems sold. I hate to see my Zuiko glass sit idle, I guess I need to just buy some film and fresh batteries for my OM-4T. B&H (not their fault )is going to get a rare return from me.

Adapts my f1.8 lens to Nikon

The adapter certainly allows me to use my good Olympus lens on my Nikon DSLR but I didn't realize when I bought it that it would only work in manual mode. My fault for not doing more research but it certainly limits the adapters usefulness.

Whether a 50mm Zuiko lens (1.4) presently mounted on Olympus OM10, can be adopted on Nikon D600 ? If so would B&H # FOPNFAOO MFR # OM-NK-G suit the purpose ?Do you have any outlet in India for this product ?

I'm not completely sure about the 50mm 1.4, but I have a Zuiko 50mm 1.8 that will not fit the mount due to its protruding flange. If you look up images and compare the two you could probably get a good idea if it will fit or not

What process is necessary for focusing the lens? Should you open the Aperture wide open for focus and then manually stop down prior to expose?

you'll get the most accurate focus on any manual focusing lens by using the aperture wide open because the more the lens is stopped down the greater the depth of field and the harder to see the sharpest focal point.

Will this work with an Olympus G. Zuiko Auto-S lens going to a Fujifilm S5Pro with the Nikon F mount? Will auto focus work?

Yes, the FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Olympus OM Lens to Nikon F Mount Camera will work with the Olympus G. Zuiko Auto-S lens going to the Fujifilm S5Pro with a Nikon F mount, but this is a manual focus adapter that maintains infinity focus, so autofocus will not work.

As long as your Olympus 50mm f/1.4 has the OM mount, you could use it with this adapter to mount the lens on a Nikon F Camera.

Yes, the FotodioX Pro Adapter for Olympus Zuiko OM Lens to Nikon F-Mount Camera will allow you to mount OM-mount lenses to Nikon F-Mount cameras. Electronic lens functions will not be retained with the use of this adapter.
