This Pro Lens Adapter from Fotodiox enables the use of your Olympus OM lenses on Nikon F mount SLR and DSLR cameras. It features a durable brass construction with stainless steel finish and a leaf spring ensures a secure connection between the lens and adapter. Additionally, through the use of a 1.4x multi-coated focus correction lens, this adapter is designed to maintain infinity focus. This correction lens can also be removed to render the adapter as an extension tube for macro shooting.

This manual adapter does not maintain automatic lens control between the camera and lens; aperture priority or manual shooting modes should be used, as well as stop-down metering for exposure control.

Whether a 50mm Zuiko lens (1.4) presently mounted on Olympus OM10, can be adopted on Nikon D600 ? If so would B&H # FOPNFAOO MFR # OM-NK-G suit the purpose ?Do you have any outlet in India for this product ?

I'm not completely sure about the 50mm 1.4, but I have a Zuiko 50mm 1.8 that will not fit the mount due to its protruding flange. If you look up images and compare the two you could probably get a good idea if it will fit or not

What process is necessary for focusing the lens? Should you open the Aperture wide open for focus and then manually stop down prior to expose?

you'll get the most accurate focus on any manual focusing lens by using the aperture wide open because the more the lens is stopped down the greater the depth of field and the harder to see the sharpest focal point.

Yes, the FotodioX Pro Adapter for Olympus Zuiko OM Lens to Nikon F-Mount Camera will allow you to mount OM-mount lenses to Nikon F-Mount cameras. Electronic lens functions will not be retained with the use of this adapter.

Yes. This lens adapter will allow an Olympus OM lens to be connected to an F-mount Nikon DSLR. The adapter has a built-in 1.4x multi-coated focus-correction lens to adjust for infinity focus and the glass element can be removed for macro photography. Note! Automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other such functions will not be accessible while using this adapter. Stop-down mode will need to be used when attempting to use in-camera metering with a lens and this adapter because a lens used in that case will not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot in manual mode or aperture priority mode.
