This Pro Lens Adapter from Fotodiox enables the use of your Konica AR lenses on Canon EF-mount DSLR cameras. It features a durable brass construction with stainless steel finish and a leaf spring ensures a secure connection between the lens and adapter. Additionally, through the use of a 1.4x multi-coated focus correction lens, this adapter is designed to maintain infinity focus. This correction lens can also be removed to render the adapter as an extension tube for macro shooting.

This manual adapter does not maintain automatic lens control between the camera and lens; aperture priority or manual shooting modes should be used, as well as stop-down metering for exposure control.

This adapter lets me use my late Grandfathers Konica lenses with my Canon bodies, without quality loss. Many Konica adapters don't let you reach infinity or have some other downside, but thanks to the corrective glass, you can use the full range of the lenses. One downside, if you are on something like a T3i, you will notice a haze with certain lenses, but anything full frame you will be fine. The customer service is awesome. I purchased this mount last year, and thanks to the 2 year warranty, they answered my request of a broken spring withing minutes of me submitting the ticket, got my shipping info and order confirmation email, and sent me a new one in the mail. Its nice to feel so taken care of.

A Konica AR 40mm lens would have the same focal length on the 5D Mark III with this adapter.

No, if you trying to mount pentax k mount lenses on a canon body this is the adaptor you need: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1198967-REG/ However This specific adapter is only compatible with EF-S-type camera bodies due to how far back the rear element sits in the body, which could cause damage to larger EF camera systems. Additionally, it is a purely mechanical attachment and will not transmit information such as aperture or autofocus signals.

I see a question below about a 40mm maintaining the same focal length with this 1.4x adapter. though the focal length is the same, does the adapter affect the angle of view?
