67mm NC (Clear) Glass Filter is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 128.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 67mm Lens Protector Nikon glass is used and it has NIC on both sides. However, it is not a Filter. It does not filter anything. It lets all visible light through. It is strictly a shield against front lens wear and tear. Using it on Nano Crystal coated lenses makes sense to protect the special lens coating. The filter is quality made, and meets my expectations for a Nikon product. It is virtually transparent, but you may get reflections in your image if pointed at bright light sources. The glass coating will reduce reflections, not eliminate them. If tempted to take pictures of the daytime sun, take it off the lens for the shot, then put the lens protector back when done. I don't use the lens cap when the lens protector is mounted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Inexpensive Protection For Lens I spent far too much on my Nikon lenses to just risk having casual scratches and dirt ruin it. I was about to purchase some lower end much cheaper priced lens filters but after debating the cost of my lens, this price was nothing to really be concern about for better quality. The clear filter doesn't cause any yellowing of my whites like some filters. It fit perfectly and doesn't interfere with my hoods. I bought one of these for each one of my lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Invisible Glass Guard Got this to use as lens protection. I use Nikon NC filters on all my expensive lenses. I'm not sure how much real protection they afford but I'm unwilling to go without the insurance of having a protecting layer on my lenses. Although expensive, Nikons NC filters are colorless and distortion free - essentially invisible between lens and subject.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NC Lens Filter Great product for protecting your lens without distortion from the glass. I have used other brands and trust the Nikon quality for clarity. I have a scratch on another brand I have used and not sure if the lower quality glass resulted in the minor scratch or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Original Accessories Fits perfectly and matches the optical quality of my camera. That's the reason why I prefer original manufacturer accessories.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ahhh I can relax - glass protected! Got this clear filter to protect the front element my new Nikon 16-85 as I run around with it much of the time for general shooting. Notice no real difference in quality or sharpness with it on or off, which is a good thing. Great price here at B&H compared to all the options where I live!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nikon filter for Nikon lens Best to match same quality lens and filter from same company when possible. All my Nikon lenses have Nikon filters. Could have purchased a cheaper German equivalent. Very happy with purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best protection you can buy I have these on all my Nikon lenses. It doesn't make sense to pay top dollar for Nikon lenses and then put anything less than Nikon glass on the front as a filter.
