I need eyeglasses to see close up only. No glasses through the viewfinder. It was a little difficult but with the Hoodman Hoodeye eyecup I am now able to see everything in the viewfinder. Who would think this eyecup can help so much. Glad I bought it

For those of us who are sensitive to light flashes, isolating your camera's viewfinder makes a great difference. Get one for every camera you own.

I am not familiar with this particular Rebel model, but if the LCD screen is one that swivels out away from the camera body, the Hoodeye Eyecup will block this activity. Hope this helps. :-)

I am very pleased with the Hoodman Hoodeye purchased for my 60D. It fits tightly and securely and is exactly what I was looking for. If a 70d has the same eye piece, I would think that it should work for this model as well. Great product from B&H at a good price!
