Will this adapter allow my lens to focus to infinity? Infinity is going to be super crucial to my Canon 35mm 2.8 TS tilt shift
The FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Canon FD Lens to Nikon F Mount Camera does support infinity focus. But Fotodiox does not list that specific lens. So results can vary.
Also note the adapter adds 1.4x So the Canon 35mm lens will be more like a 49mm lens.

Does this adapter crop the image any more than the crop factor on the camera? Does it stop down the amount of light that comes through?
I have an example of considerable crop. I put a Canon FD 200 mm lens on my D750 on a tripod and took a photograph. I then put a Nikkor 200-500 mm lens on the camera and adjusted the field of view until it matched the field of view of the FD 200 mm lens. The image data said that the Nikkor was at 310 mm. I consider this neither good nor bad, but it's worth knowing.

Can you actually remove the optical glass? How would you do it?
Upon request, Fotodiox sent me a helpful pdf file. Using rubber gloves (I used surgical gloves), hold the adapter lens with a finger and a thumb, with the smaller side of the adapter toward you. With your other hand, rotate the adapter clockwise while holding the lens steady. Turn a long time, because there are a lot of threads. Eventually, the glass portion and retaining ring will pop out. It can be replaced. Good luck.

Can this be stacked with a Metabones Nikon G adapter. I want to do this: adapt my Canon FD 35-105 via the Fotodiox Pro to my Nikon G to MFT 0.64x speedbooster to my Lumix G7. This way i'll effectively gain an extra stop. If there any reason this might not work mechanically?
No, the adapters are not designed to be combined with other lens adapters.

can I use my FD 300/2.8 Tokina and FD 7.5/5.6 Canon Fisheye on my D300 using one of these adapters and will I like the results?Jim
You could use those FD mount lenses on the D300 using the FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Canon FD Lens to Nikon F Mount Camera. Though, the adapter does have an optic in it so that the lenses will retain focus at infinity. The optic will likely have an adverse effect on the quality you were used to getting from the lenses. Though, you can remove the optic from the adapter. The lens would lose the ability to focus on subjects in the distance, but would be able to focus closer to the subject, thus enhancing its macro capabilities.
