How does lens aperture work with this adaptor? Can the connected lens only be used at its widest aperture?
The adaptor allows you to attach your lens to the camera but all functions such as aperture and focus must be controlled manually by the control rings on the lens. The camera must be switched to fully manual and it's metering will no longer be of any help to you. You can use any aperture you like on the lens and set the camera to any iso and shutter speed. The picture may need to be taken several times until you get the settings right for proper exposure.
