    Ape Case TD140 reviews

TD140 Monopod is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is what it is... If you are a height challenged individual or someone who does a lot of shooting from a seated position and do not wish to carry along a heavy/bulky support, this unit may be just for you. For everyone else, this unit is not tall enough, fully extended, to comfortably shoot while standing up even with a monopod head added. (I am 6'2. However, I think this unit would even be short on someone half a foot shorter than myself.) The unit is also quite thin compared to my pro monopod. While it does actually seem to be fairly sturdy, I wouldn't trust it to heavier pro-level gear. Overall, if pressed, when weight savings is desired I'd rather have this unit in/on my bag than nothing. It serves its niche purpose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAD QUALITY DISLIKE. I had to throw it away the second time I used it, the screw that holds the camera went inside, apparently the screw it holds only with glue and I give some pressure to the camera so it can be more stable tripod and it tucked inward.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK for Price I bought this mono-pod for mostly wildlife or times when I can't set up a tripod. I used it with my Canon Rebel 2ti and it seemed to be un-stable when I held it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly sold for the money I bought this mainly to hold small flash units that my assistants will carry around. I saw it on sale for about $12 and figured even if it were junk, I could toss it but it's not. It's rather light, pretty solid, I bet it would hold a pro DSLR and mid range zoom. I would say if someone paid $29 they would still be happy, @ $12 it's a steal. Oh, it's a little short also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable and Reliable Just got this but have not encountered any problems so far. I take pictures and videos at a club and it is perfect for getting steady videos and navigating it through large crowds. It is a little hard to get the clips open to adjust it but other than that its a great product. It also comes with a carrying case which is helpful since I have lots of other equipment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice monopod that works I use this monopod to shoot sports, especially in low light. It is a real help, lightweight and compact. With full size section clutches, it is secure and length adjustable to suit. The included carry sheath is a nice touch, too. I recommend it without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine Easy to use, light and compact, cheap but sturdy for light weight setup. Just a little short for me. I'm 6'4 and this is about 5 foot. So sometimes it's a little too much bending. But that's on me, otherwise for smaller people perfect

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this Monopod! I was looking for a small light weight monopod to use on the go and I am truly happy with this purchase. The bonus is the case. Many others I looked at did not have a case, so this is wonderful.
