    52-55mm Step-Up Ring is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the purpose Few people bother to sing the praise the modest step-up ring deserves. However, despite the reasonable price, humble appearance, and the absolutely functional simplicity (no software, no batteries, no bells or whistles) the ring does the job it was intended for, and when you need to fit a 52 mm accessory to a 55 mm filter thread you should be delighted to have one in your camera bag. So, with all the fuss about new cameras and lenses, don't forget to appreciate the modest, unassuming pieces of equipment you need to keep your setups together! (The more serious remarks: the quality of threads was good for the price, screwing/unscrewing was easy, and those of you who have struggled with filters getting stuck in the lens can certainly appreciate this.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy I have a Leica 55mm circular polarizer and I wanted to use it on my 49mm Pentax lenses, so I bought this adapter. Works just fine. I like the fact that it's made of metal. I found that if I squeeze it to hard it's difficult to unscrew. A light touch is all it takes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice step up ring Bought this to allow use of 55mm filters, from film days, on current lenses that take 52mm. The low price allows use of some older expensive lenses and, saves money. The ring itself is very well made, low profile and works perfectly. Great investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised The thyreads on this ring work smoothly, the finish is fine. Since this is not made of titanuim, or stainless, I suspect you could trash it fairly easily through carelessness, but that could be said of most filters, as well. Awesome price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a good ring I use the Sensei rings to step-up or down my infrared and ND filters. I never tighten them up much and they come off easily if you don't put a lot of pressure when removing. Even pressure gets them off every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid step up ring i used this basic step up ring to mount an old 55mm lens hood to a 52mm lens. It's a no-frills ring, plain and smooth, but it is solid and well made and seats securely on the lens and with the hood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine - what more do you want? I have one old DX lens that I still use with older cameras, Nikon's famous 55-200mm workhorse - for that, even though it rarely comes out, this will be handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good price for product. Use these to adapt several filters to be used w/my 52mm Macro lens. These filters are all from my 35mm days and useful for certain photo-art and macro work.
