Works well

This works very well. The one drawback is that it can be very hard to remove the 82mm filter from the step-up ring. You really have to grip it correctly. Perhaps a filter wrench would fix this issue, but I get by with a bit of elbow grease.

I bought the Step down by mistake the first time. This enables me to use an 82mm ND filter on my smaller 72mm lens. Works great - smooth threading - great price.
Works just as advertised

It works fine. For the price you cannot ask for more. It tends to jam if you twist it too much but does the job.

question
Will thisgive me a vignet if i use it on a sony 16-35mm lens and an 82mm polarizing filter?
Probably not. It depends on whether you are shooting on an APS or full frame sensor.I'm reasonably certain that you are safe as long as your filter isn't too thick. If you haven't already purchased the polarization filter, you can opt for a low profile filter.
