Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I use this product for video work - short narrative and documentary. I bought 2 of these to adapt a 52mm filter to multiple lenses in my kit. It's perfect. I will say though, that there may be something to getting a rail system and a matte box so that you can simply change your lens and get back to work. The process of carefully screwing and unscrewing both the filter and the adapter could be very sucky if you're under pressure (which most of us are, right?)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value for money, but not great I bought this to use Hoya R72 and other infrared filters (52mm) with my 46mm filter sized Sigma f/2.8 60mmm & 30mm ART lenses. It works well with the lenses and filters, except that it would be great if it were knurled to assist in unscrewing/removing the filters. I had one filter get stuck..it wasn't cross-threaded...so knurling would have helped. I'd buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits well but avoid overtightening I use step-up rings frequently and always try to find the compromise between too loose and too tight. This one feels like it might be difficult to remove if too tight. That's not a bad thing -- just the reality of step-up rings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performs as Intended Secure and sturdy...and cheap to boot! Wasn't sure of what the build quality would be like, since it was about the cheapest step-up ring available. Pleasantly surprised when I received it. Works just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well machined. The threads are machined well. Which is the only thing that could have been a problem. But it screws smooth and true!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised Not much to say about this, it is a step-up ring it fits both of my lenses well and it works as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for contax g2 Purchased for contax G2 to use 52 filters. Not too big to interfere with focusing functions.
