    52-77mm Step-Up Ring is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I use this on two 52mm lens. Great tool for minimizing the amount of filters you carry. The good: 1) I can utilize my 77mm Circular Polarizer and a 77mm ND filter on any of my 52mm lenses and even stack the two filters without vignetting. 2) It works well on the wide angle so I don't have my fingers blocking out the view while turning the CPL filter adjustment ring. And it cuts out any vignetting on the wide angle zoom. HOWEVER... The down side: 1) you will need a 77mm screw on lens hood if you want to shade out glare. Those pedal types that attach to the outer barrel of the 52mm lens will not fit around the huge 77mm filter and step-up ring. 2) If you stack a polarizer it will likely get stuck on the adapter ring or other filter you use. So a pair of filter wrenches are essential so you don't force or bend the soft alloy step-up adapter ring or the filter when they get stuck. So, if you already have good 52mm filters and don't want the hassle of messing with stuck filters, and the additional process of screwing on a after market lens hood to the filter, this product would be just be a waste of your time. However, if you want to use your 77mm filters, and don't mind the extra steps involved in attaching the adapter step-up ring, and screw on aftermarket lens hood, this product may be for you. Also, if you want to explore variations of filter stacking without vignetting, this product may be for you. I only recommend this product to those that are willing to deal with the bad to get results for the good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Step right up, ladies and gents So much freaking better than the duct tape I used to use. Cheaper than welding too. Boy did my wife yell when the torch melted her lens. This baby steps right on up and Steps-Up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality for Cheap Price I got this step up ring a few weeks ago and have used it with my camera heavuly since then. It is very useful so that I only have to buy the size filter that fits my largest lens and then I can use the same filters on all my lenses, it would immediately become very expensive if I had to buy three sizes of every filter I wanted so this perfect. It has held up well with no visible damage over the few weeks I've had it. With the cheap price I was at first dubois about the quality compared to some of the expensive brass or alloy filter adapters but this one works perfectly allowing proper use of my lens and filter, even the polarizing filter which requires room to rotate seperately from the mounting threads works perfextly fine and I feel is completely secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beats buying filter sets for all lenses Must have in every photographers kit. Unless you need to constantly changes lenses on the fly and in a hurry, this kind of item can save you lots of money, by not having to buy a filter (other than UV and/or polarizer) for each lens that you use. For example, I enjoy close up photography, I bought a close up filter kit for my lens with the largest diameter, and step up rings for all of my smaller lenses. Saving quite a bit of money, space and weight in the bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful but be careful They do the job, have not had a seize with these and have been using them for quite a while. I keep these on my nikkor lenses at all times as much for protection as for filter uses. I will say, if you drop a lens with these on, it will save your lens but you will have to throw out this step up ring as they will not withstand a drop of more than a foot or so before they bend like a noodle. They do their job well but aren't strong enough to withstand a spill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works How it Should This works perfect. I only wanted to buy one set of filters, so I needed a few of these to use them on all my lens. Easy to put on. Sometimes I put the filter on too tight, and it's hard to remove without taking the Step-up ring off as well. I don't know if there is any way to avoid this. The problem happens with my graduated filter and polarizer. When I turn them, it tightens the filter to the ring. Saves me a ton on filters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely a Step Up. Tastefully presented in an unassuming satin black, don't let the modest appearance put you off. Beneath the surface is a powerhouse of function and usefulness. Not only does it attach flawlessly to a 52mm lens thread but it also allows you to mount 77mm filters with ease. That is definitely a step up.
