Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performs nicely I have been using the Sensei pinch caps which are great, and I needed a step up ring so I decided to give this a try. For the money, it's great. Threads are nice and precise, and the ring has a quality feel to it. For a few dollars more they offer pro ones that have a knurled outside edge. I probably would have gotten that one haad I seen it first, but this one works great too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Digiscoping with a Vortex Viper spotting scope If you want to digiscope with a Canon DSLR (EF 50mm lens)and a Viper spotting scope you need the 49-52 mm step up ring in order to connect the camera to the scope. The Viper digital Camera Adapter kit has the 52 mm ring but not a 49 mm ring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised It's just a basic step up ring. Had a little trouble threading it since there isn't a lot to grab on to. But it's not something that I plan to take on and off a lot so it's fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple! Works for me I use it to be able to use my Ring Flash with my SONY RXR1II. It let me use my smallest adaptor that is 52mm with the 49mm fixed lens of the camera

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, no complaints I use it to put a 52mm variable neutral density filter I bought for a newer lens on an older pentax 49mm lens. Works great.
