Bought 62-72 step up ring to use Firecrest solar eclipse filter with my Tamron 18-270. Performed magnificently.
I bought this for the few times I need to use a 72mm polarizer on my lens with a 62mm thread. Works well and seems fairly strong.
Does what it is suppose to do. It attaches fine with lens and filter but it could be a bit smoother going on. I just didn't want to pay more. :) I am happy with it.
works as intended
When i have a filter with a big diameter such as a 72 mm circular polarizer, i buy adapter rings to be able to downsize it and fit it to lenses of lesser diameters. This does not affect the filter nor lenses' performance and it costs less than buying a filter for each of my lenses.
